The Midnight Hollow
The Midnight Hollow started in San Francisco in 2011 as Spencer Draeger's solo project. After his band of 9 years unexpectedly ended, the only thought was to take a turn away from calculation, touring and spend a year writing without a band. Spencer recorded the early recordings in San Francisco-- laying the foundation before making the jump to NYC in October 2011. After the move and countless jams with jaded musicians, Draeger finally met Andrew Segreti (drums) and Trevor Murphy (guitar, synthesizers).
Young Unknowns

Young Unknowns donʼt believe in hype… and werenʼt created from it either. The formation of the group began on a sidewalk in Brooklyn when singer/ guitarist, Meredith Meyer, ran into drummer, Matt Arbeiter. Soon after, bassist, Brian Percivall, joined the duo; and feeling the undeniable chemistry, this new Brooklyn band began forging their sound. Produced by indie rock veteran Bill Racine (Rogue Wave, Mates of State, Hopewell, Miniature Tigers, Love Like Fire), the bandʼs debut EP You Are a Young Unknown dares the listener to go beyond the laptop. Young Unknowns blend musical textures, intricate arrangements, driving beats and addictive melodies with slightly haunting, transporting and still-rock-n-rolling undertones.
An “experienced ingénue,” Meyer is musically seasoned, but has remained independent and largely under the radar. Her two solo albums, along with her signature ethereal and psychedelic vocals,
recently attracted the attention of German DJ Dennis Sheperd, who released his own early trance version of the groupʼs premiere single “Target Practice” in September 2011 on High Contrast Recordings. The EP is expected to be released in May 2012 and is rumored to have a couple of "guest musicians" helping out the kids.
