Color War
Color War
COLOR WAR is a Brooklyn-based electronic duo. Billy J and vocalist Lindsay Mound originally bonded as visual artists in 2004. A natural creative symmetry forced COLOR WAR into existence in 2009. The band soon began forging songs through hazy improvisational sessions, with J piecing together beats and synth textures and Mound responding as a medium, channeling melodies and lyrical content in real-time.

Their forthcoming album It Could Only Be This Way (to be released March 4, 2014) illustrates the depth and transcendence of their sound. Mound's vocals crest and slink thru arrangements that conjure a familiar pop cadence stretched across dark and glimmering soundscapes. Their layered, gauzy sound and transporting live shows have captivated fans and propelled them into band-to-watch status. COLOR WAR and their live visuals collaborator, Brandon Sciarrotta, produced the record with co-production and mixing by legendary techno wizard, John Selway.
Salt Cathedral
Salt Cathedral
Brooklyn group Salt Cathedral used to go by the name Il Abanico, in case you thought their expansive, multi-instrumentalist pop rang a bell.

Fresh from touring the US with Hundred Waters and Freelance Whales, the five-piece of Juliana Ronderos, Tommy Hartman, Stefan Bildy, Silvio Vega and Nicolas Losada have shared their most recent track 'Take Me To The Sea'.

It's similar in approach to the work of Hundred Waters, actually. In the sense that these two bands' members trade instruments and share ideas at a constant rate, they're almost identical beings.

For Every Story Untold
For Every Story Untold
For Every Story Untold was formed when Lauren Edman and Brian Caesar met in the winter of 2009 in Astoria, NY. A lifelong musician, Edman had previously written and played with several artists, making appearances on Sleepthief’s album The Dawnseeker and Delta-S’s Voyage to Isis. Caesar had previously been the bassist for As Tall As Lions, significantly helping in the writing and production of the band’s debut album Lafcadio. Since his departure from the group in 2004, he had only picked up his bass for a handful of shows with other artists, and he began refocusing on writing songs with supernatural elements in mind. Sharing drinks and chiming glasses, the two were quickly brought to the conclusion that they should collaborate on some music.

The first song they wrote together was "Hideout." The arrangement was derived from part of a score to a story that Caesar had written years ago. Edman took this background music and came up with a haunting vocal melody that gave the song new life. Caesar began to lay down other ideas that he had developed over the years in his Queens, NY apartment including the lyrical ghost stories "Mistakes We’ve Made" and "When This Nightmare Ends Its Course."

As the songs came closer to completion, sound by sound and layer by layer, Edman and Caesar found that each track had begun to establish its own identity, each reaching a different range of emotion within it. These songs capture the emotional acrobatics of a person reciting an urban legend to his or her friends on a dark night.

For Every Story Untold digitally released their debut EP Hideout in August 2010, and they are currently putting the finishing touches on their first full length album scheduled for a fall 2013 release.
Foxtrott is the solo project of singer-producer Marie-Helene L. Delorme. Foxtrott makes a raw yet refined, quality breed of electronic pop and is based in Montreal.
